Choose to be around people who make you feel good about yourself and your efforts to lose weight. Choose to be around people who give you the support that you need. Choose to be around people who will give you that nudge when you need it. Those are the people who really care for you, want you to be healthy and are ready to help you work towards that goal.
You may come from a family where you are the only one who is overweight. If they don?t support you, your clarity of thought and focus will be affected. You need to shut your ears to what they say. Create a goal stating why you want to lose weight and to what extent and then keep focused on it no matter what they say. The same applies at work or in college. We don’t always choose our environments but we can control how we react to them.
